Charity

We love that you would like to help struggling families in your community. At the moment, we are working with charities and local churches to ensure integrity across the charitable side of the operation. General

Family Food Farm is a company that is formed by a group of farming families in Southland/Otago who have combined to bring their stock to the people of New Zealand at wholesale prices. 

While virtually all the other red meat processors in New Zealand have opted to be halal certified, at FamilyFood.Farm, we use Kiwicut, which is our name for the traditional, non-halal way of processing meat.

As a group of passionate farmers, our aim is to produce top-quality meat products that are able to cater to people from all walks of life. We love our Muslim, non-religious, and religious neighbours all the same, and want to make it clear that offering non-halal meat is not an issue of discrimination against Muslims but of offering the consumer choice to those groups who prefer non-halal meat.

The meat packs change with the availability of meat. We are in a seasonal business and at different times of the year we have different kinds and different volumes of meat. We update the meat packs and our freeflow meat as supply changes.

Returns

We sell our meat at wholesale prices, which means we have no margins to cover returns of unwanted meat. If there are any mistakes in your order, we will definitely correct the mistakes, however at this time, we cannot do returns for change of mind.

Shipping

We are adding new areas weekly. Because we ship our stock by the pallet to a cooled distribution centre before couriers deliever to your door, it can take a bit of time to get the pieces into place. Initially we need to focus where demand is high, so if you can get a few friends together, please do so and fill in the form so we can send you an email when we cover your area. Thanks!
